Private guards’ are more than double of police in Karachi

September 8, 2016Almost 166 private security companies (PSCs) in the Pakistan are not registered by the government.
According to official homes, these corporations are getting money in terms of thousands of security guards remunerations. Sources assumed that these companies do not have affiliation of All Pakistan Security Agencies Association (APSAA).
Official said that overall of 516 private security companies are operating countrywide as well as 250 members of All Pakistan Security Agencies Association (APSAA). It is learnt that between the total 516, around 100 companies have the significant license but are not associates of the APSAA. The staff of private security companies is delegated at educational institutions, diplomatic offices, banks, commercial centers and other government and private security companies. Sources said that about 216 private security companies are working in Karachi with millions of security guards. The All Pakistan Security Agencies Association said that more than 0.156 million security guards are working in all over Sindh province with more than 0.112 million only in Karachi.
